The food mixture test is an allergy test from the blood. The food mixture test determines 6 allergens:

• egg protein,
• milk,
• dorghum,
• wheat flour,
• peanut,
• soy,

The test involves the determination of IgE antibodies in the blood and is performed when a food allergy is suspected. The advantage of of the test is that there is no need to discontinue antihistamines antihistamines. The blood allergen test is used also for qualification for desensitization of food allergies.

It is also recommended for the diagnosis of allergenic agents in children under the age of 4 years.
