As part of the consultation, the immunologist will conduct a medical interview, assess the laboratory tests performed so far, give medical recommendations, including planning further possible diagnostics and answer questions about the infertility treatment process in relation to immunological aspects.
An immunologist is a doctor who diagnoses and treats primary and secondary immune disorders. Some of them have a significant impact on fertility in terms of fertilisation itself, as well as the maintenance of pregnancy throughout its duration.
Another immunological consultation is dedicated to patients who have already had the first immunological consultation at Invimed. Teleadvice from Małgorzata Jarosz, MD, from Invimed in Gdynia is offered for all interested patients. The service provided by Anna Olewik, MD, from Invimed in Poznań may be used only by patients continuing treatment with this doctor.
Consulting an immunologist is advisable in the case of:
· inability to get pregnant despite regular unprotected intercourse,
· failure of procedural forms of infertility treatment (insemination, in vitro),
· a history of miscarriages (at least 2 early pregnancy losses, unexplained pregnancy loss after the first trimester).
Dear Patient,
telemedicine consultation is available for all adults, regardless of their previous treatment history. However, it should be remembered that by booking such a service, you are buying a telemedicine consultation, not a visit to a specific Invimed fertility clinic. The cities displayed in the above information only indicate the doctor's workplace.
Medical services are provided by the Invimed clinic in the form of a telemedicine service during the period of the epidemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus infections. However, we reserve the right to change the method of providing these services in the event that the epidemic ceases or if, in a specific case, medical reasons justify the need for direct contact with the Patient.
Other important information:
- After the payment for the consultation is credited, the helpline consultant of the Invimed fertility clinic will contact you using the telephone number provided in the registration form to book a telephone consultation or to confirm it, if the date has been booked earlier. The purchase confirmation for a visit in Medistore contains the patient's personal data.
2. The time of the booked telephone consultation is approximate - the doctor will contact you within +/- 15 minutes from the time of the indicated visit.
3. The phone call is initiated by the doctor, who will make three attempts to make a call, 1-2 minutes apart, from the number 500900887. If the connection is lost, the doctor will try to make a phone call again.
4. If the Patient does not postpone or cancel the consultation and the doctor fails to establish a connection three times, the consultation is considered complete, which means that the funds paid for the consultation cannot be returned.
5. The calls are recorded.
6. At the time of the call from the doctor, the Patient will hear an automatic message informing about the connection with the doctor for a telephone consultation. Then the doctor will ask for basic personal data, including the PESEL number, in order to verify the identity.
7. The telephone consultation lasts a maximum of 20 (twenty) minutes.
8. As part of the telephone consultation, the doctor provides information and recommendations regarding only the Patient for whom the service has been booked.
9. In the framework of a telephone consultation, the doctor cannot:
o issue decisions or certificates, in particular a certificate of temporary incapacity to work due to illness, stay in a hospital or other healthcare facility of a medical entity performing medical activities such as inpatient and round-the-clock health services, or on the need to personally care for an ill family member;
o make an appointment for a visit or another health service at the Invimed fertility clinic.
- As part of the telemedicine service, the doctor may recommend that the user visit a healthcare facility, call an ambulance or seek medical help in another medical entity or another institution.
As part of the telephone consultation, the immunologist will:
· conduct a medical interview,
· evaluate the laboratory tests performed so far,
· provide medical recommendations, including planning further possible diagnostics,
· answer questions about the infertility treatment process in relation to immunological aspects.
The doctor may also:
· provide recommendations relating to necessary tests and examinations.
