Who is the package for?

The Women's Health Screening is a set of preventive tests/examinations and a medical consultation aimed at all women who want to check their condition in more detail. The programme is especially recommended to those women who live a fast-paced life (work, home, family) and do not have enough time for regular meals and physical activity, are stressed, do not regularly undergo preventive tests/examinations and to those who are at increased risk of cancer due to a family history of cancer, as well as 40+ women, whose risk of diabetes and heart disease naturally increases with age.

The wide range of laboratory and ultrasound tests included in the screening can help detect many diseases early, including:

• heart disease,
• blood disorders (e.g. anaemia),
• thyroid disorders,
• cancers (including pancreas and liver),
• and many other health problems.

Remember that early diagnosis and starting the right treatment can help recover from many diseases, including cancer.

The "Women's Health" Screening includes the following diagnostic tests and specialist consultations:

Blood tests: CBC lipid profile (LDL, HDL, cholesterol, triglycerides) glucose TSH - thyroid hormone HCV - testing for hepatitis C HBs - testing for hepatitis B ALT - liver enzyme creatinine - assessment of kidney function uric acid - assessment of kidney function HIV medical consultation

Urine test, Imaging tests: abdominal ultrasound, ultrasound of the thyroid gland resting ECG

And a medical consultation, which includes: measurement of height, weight, waist circumference, BMI calculation, medical history, discussion of all test results and recommendations.

We know that if you have your own gynaecologist and you visit him regularly, you don’t need additional visits, so this screening does not include them. You can book gynaecological diagnostics with your doctor when it’s convenient for you and on the day your cycle is optimal for the examination.

The screening is valid for 3 months from the date indicated in the order confirmation.

How to use the Screening?

Choose the most convenient place Please select a city and Medicover Centre, where you would like to carry out the screening tests. Then, complete the form with your personal data and pay for the purchase in MediStore.

How to arrange the examinations as part of the screening? The screening coordinator will contact you by phone within 24 working hours of your purchase. He/she will propose convenient dates for Health Screening Package tests and consultations at your preferred Medicover Centre. The coordinator will also be present during the screening at the Medicover Center and will personally lead you to the tests and consultations. For identification purposes, please bring a document with photo of you.

Findings

You will collect the test results at the collection point within 3 working days. If you have medical care at Medicover and you have downloaded the password to the platform Medicover OnLine you can check the test results online.
