What Does Men’s Health Prevention Involve?
Men’s Health Prevention is a package of 17 laboratory tests for all men that enable the early detection of diseases. The package is dedicated to individuals aged 16 and over.
Men need to monitor their health regularly just as women do, even if they do not experience any visible symptoms. If you tend to postpone important tests or take a “it will be fine” approach to symptoms you experience, you should especially consider taking care of your health and not ignore the warning signs your body may be sending.
Preventive examinations make it possible to diagnose a disease before it becomes more advanced and difficult to treat. Early detection of health problems helps prevent serious complications and increases the chances of a full recovery.
The recommended screening tests can help detect, among others, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, thyroid disorders, kidney and liver diseases, as well as prostate cancer. By undergoing regular preventive examinations, you gain confidence that you are taking proper care of your health. In the case of abnormal results, you have the opportunity to quickly implement appropriate treatment.
Who Should Benefit from Men’s Health Prevention?
The package is intended for all adult men who want to take care of their health. Preventive tests are recommended on a regular basis, regardless of whether any symptoms are currently present.
This is particularly important for individuals who belong to risk groups for specific diseases. The most common factors increasing the risk of developing chronic conditions include:
- a sedentary lifestyle with significantly limited physical activity,
- an unhealthy diet high in saturated fats and simple sugars,
- overweight and obesity,
- excessive alcohol consumption,
- smoking cigarettes or other tobacco products.
The package is dedicated to individuals aged 16 and over.
What Does the Patient Gain?
- the possibility of early detection of diseases before they develop into advanced stages,
- an increased chance of full recovery if abnormalities are detected,
- assessment of the risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, thyroid, kidney and liver diseases, as well as prostate cancer,
- the opportunity to quickly implement appropriate treatment in the case of abnormal results,
- greater awareness of one’s health condition and confirmation that proper care is being taken.
